Hong-Kong Jet-stream and Passenger Ships
We arrive in HK airport and transferred by the agent’s driver, we hit the road for more than 30 minutes going to harbour and a there is the boat waiting for us. Why boat not the ship? They are in anchorage area, they don’t have a place and clearance in port authorities to alongside the pier. I want to try the boat deck but the waves are rough that you need to hold in handrails even you are sitted perfectly. Since it’s it not possible, let’s try the passenger side of the helmsman and turning the wheel just like an old manual car. Rotate to left, rotate to right then midship if he saw the boat is going to roll the other side making sure it will balance every time
Boat ride will take us 20 minutes to anchorage area where the ship and crews are waiting. While enjoying the view, a lot to see in Hong-Kong not just the land but also the seaside. A lot of jet-stream super craft boat, it seems that they use this mode of transportation well enough to get in their destination on time. One thing I noticed the other popular mode of transportation is on air, there’s a lot of helicopter flying around especially in tallest buildings where the helipad located on top.
Let’s go back to the boat, I’m vigilant to any fast craft moving since they will cross your way anytime. Took some photos to the area of Kowloon where the business buildings are located, lighthouse near the area and passenger ships.
We just arrive to our ship that anchored few miles away from shore where transhipment operation held with the container barge.
PS: Excuse my grammar, my English is bad. 🙂
